Chance the Rapper Performs ‘Sunday Candy’ at White House Tree Lighting

...and the president sang "Jingle Bells."

As the Obamas celebrate their final holiday season in the White House, they invited Chance the Rapper to preside over their last tree-lighting ceremony as First Family.

The rapper performed “Sunday Candy” at the White House with a choir, and he rocked around the Christmas tree. His set got vigorous nods of approval from the President, but it was Sasha Obama who stole the show. A GIF of the First Daughter rapping every line of Chance’s song is making the rounds on Twitter.

Later in the evening, the commander-in-chief took to the stage to put his spin on “Jingle Bells,” accompanied by Eva Longoria, Marc Anthony, James Taylor, Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, Caroline Smedvig and Santa Claus. During the President’s song, Chance had some pretty silly dance moves to share.

Kelly Clarkson, the Lumineers, James Taylor, Yolanda Adams, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood were also in attendance.
