Beyoncé Celebrates Halloween with Salt-N-Pepa Costume

And Pepa says, "She killed it!"

By Jon Wiederhorn

Beyoncé, her four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and her mom, Tina Lawson celebrated Halloween in style. Queen Bey, dressed in a red lycra catsuit and gold chains, emulated Pepa from the rap team Salt-N-Pepa. She and her family posed for an Instagram photo and video before going out to her cousin Angie Beyince’s ’80s and ’90-themed party.

Jay Z, sporting flip-up glasses, joined in the fun by dressing as Dwayne Wayne from the TV show A Different World. Lawson said the night was a blast, posting on social media that she had “danced all night!! Great party, but my feet hurt.”

When she saw Beyoncé’s costume, Sandra Denton (the original Pepa) tweeted her approval: “she killed it.”

Last year the Knowles-Carter family dressed up for Halloween as characters from the Eddie Murphy film Coming to America.
